A letter from Dr. Marj Britt
Sometimes my heart, with the assistance of my mind, spins the Cosmic Wheel of my Life…seeing it through the Lens of Love. Somehow the Spiral seems a part of the galactic imprint, as it dances and glitters with stars, higher and deeper.
I Know that Love has been the most important birthing, motivating and creative Power in my life…as Spirit, soul and body. It is not just the Hallmark kind of love, although it includes that. It is all of the dimensions of the All That Is…
It is in all of the Five Basic Social Institutions for me. I used to teach them years ago when I was a high school teacher of Sociology. It is in Family, Education, Government, Religious and Economic institutions… I sometimes delight in finding the Faces of Love in the experiences of my life…they often show up in interesting, unusual, or even strange ways!
Yet always, Love has been the driver, the compeller, the initiator, the passion behind all of the creation, the meaning, the caring, the tenderness, the choices, the reason for living and being.
And…in this 75th year of my life, I’m still experiencing immense curiosity, even greater curiosity about how all of the pieces of the puzzle fit together not only in my own life, in everyone’s lives… I’m especially curious about how one lives it when one has come to know Oneness and sees It in this complex Kosmic tapestry of life and of Love.
As an educator for nearly five decades and a spiritual teacher for more than three of them, I want to know about the Involution of Love, not just the evolution of consciousness or love.
I somehow Know that the Spiral is an Integral part of it. How is That which is a part of us Always Already, our very Essence, seeded and imprinted in all of the dimensions and levels of the Spiral?
I want to hear not just the stories of people who have been way-showers, mystics and evolutionaries of a hundred or a thousand years past. I want to hear the stories of people who are living the spiral Now, in the different languages and different countries…and who perhaps are the Ones ‘coming back into the marketplace with gift-bestowing hands’. It occurs to me that ultimately the stories of the past, present and future are all One in the Now.
Are you one of those explorers, one of those with immense curiosity about the passage ways, about how slippery paths of winter dissolve into flowering paths of green in spring and summer?
Do you find fascination with stages of life and wonder about finding yourself in the complexities of the Spiral? Have you yearned for ordinary language for ordinary and extra-ordinary people?
For myself, I’m wondering if this experience of 75 years is about entering the beginning of a 4th Act, still to be danced and experienced with delight and Awe, still to be understood in new and amazing ways…perhaps visible and Invisible.
So…I’m still finding the ways it all fits… in this 1,000 Piece Kosmic Puzzle! I’ve found the connecting links, some of the places that fit for 750 of the pieces I’ve lived… And there are still 250 more to go, visible or Invisible!
